MANAGEMENT & PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY - SERVICES

Process:
NIF Pro maintains a working relationship with the entire management & professional liability marketplace, so that by making one submission to us, your client benefits by having the most appropriate sources underwriting their submission.   

A senior professional  within NIF Pro carefully selects what carriers are approached on every account, new and renewal.  We conduct a thorough marketing process, choosing all of the competitive markets, and following up diligently for each carrier’s position. 

Creating a competitive environment on every transaction, we ensure that your client is offered broad terms and conditions at competitive pricing.  We require certain coverage enhancements for each class of business, and often recommend additional coverage options that may not have been requested. 

As professional intermediaries, we work in a “Wholesale Brokerage” capacity, representing YOU - and your client’s interests - during negotiations, and we are unbiased toward any particular insurance carrier.  This allows us to compare the proposals received from the market in an unbiased manner.

Submissions and Quotations:
Our detailed submissions to the marketplace describe the operations of the Insured, including the most relevant rating factors, with a focus on positive characteristics of the client.  We typically initiate a blind process where the expiring premium is not broadcast to the market, resulting in the most competitive pricing and the widest array of options.

Our proposals are not insurance company quotations forwarded to you –we create an NIF Quotation for each account, and you receive all quotations in a consistent format, allowing you to become familiar with the layout and location of limits, retentions, premiums, etc.   Specimen policy forms and endorsements are provided for new business, and new forms are provided with renewals, allowing for coverage negotiations at the appropriate time – prior to binding.

Special Situations:
We have compiled extensive experience within NIF Pro and can add exceptional value when your client is involved in a special situation, including but not limited to:  mergers & acquisitions, bankruptcies, extraordinary litigation, initial public offerings, restructuring, capital raising, etc.

Prospecting:
We enthusiastically request the opportunity to review current policies in place, and find this to be an excellent starting point as we can quickly comment if there is a coverage deficiency.   Reviewing the Insured’s operations, we can recommend the appropriate Management & Professional Liability Insurance policies that should be in place.  

We are happy to be consulted prior to a new business call, and can provide marketing materials relevant to the class of business and/or type of coverage.  Where appropriate, we join our producers for conference calls or meetings at the prospecting or proposal presentation stages.
