Mark Maher Mark Maher is the Chief Operating Officer of Jencap Group and President of NIF Group. Mark played an integral role in the growth and development of NIF Group, Inc. and perpetuated their future through the sale of the firm to Jencap Holdings Inc. Mark began his insurance career in 1981 as a Property Facultative Broker at Willcox Baringer Inc., a subsidiary of Johnson and Higgins. Other roles he has held in the industry include Property Facultative Underwriter at Kaler, Carney, and Liffler, underwriting managers for Allstate Insurance Company; as well as Assistant Vice President at Delany Management for both facultative and treaty reinsurance, on and off the New York Insurance Exchange. In addition, he held the position of Assistant Vice President at Danmar Associates, managing the property and casualty facilities. In 1990, Danmar was acquired by what is now known as NIF Group, Inc. where he became President of NIF Services of New York in 1999. Mark attended the College of Insurance Work-Study program from 1978-1982. David Vicari David is a wholesale brokerage expert for all Management Liability (D&O), Professional Liability (E&O) and Employment Practices Liability (EPLI) related products. He is the President and creator of NIF PRO, a division of NIF Group, Inc. that was established in February 1994. David was named Partner and Executive Vice President of NIF Group, Inc. in June 2001. Prior to joining NIF, David brokered these specialty products on a retail basis with Frank Crystal & Co., Inc. Prior to that, he held various underwriting and management positions at AIG/National Union where he began his Insurance career in 1984. David is a graduate of St. John’s University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. John Buckley John graduated from Wittenberg University in Springfield, OH in 1982. In 1983 John joined Moore Excess, a surplus lines wholesaler. He eventually purchased the firm in 1991. Moore Excess was purchased by NIF Group in 1995 and John was named Sr. Vice President and part-owner in NIF Services of New York. In June of 2006 he was named President of NIF Services of New York. John served as president of the Professional Insurance Wholesalers Association (PIWA) 1991 to 1993. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Excess Lines Association of New York (ELANY). Anne Maher anne.maher@jencapgroup.com Anne has over thirty years managerial experience on the Retail, MGA, Company Underwriting and Excess and Surplus Lines side of the industry. In 1994, Anne was named President of NIF Services of NJ. Along with managing the marketing and development of Commercial lines business for the branch, Anne oversees the Personal Lines Department of NIF Group Inc. Most recently NIF Property Solutions, an exclusive in house authority for Commercial Property exposures, was added as a division to her branch.Leadership Team
